First up is this barely-meeting-budget Honda Civic. It's FWD, yes, and, a Civic, yes, but it seems solid... and that's the most important factor in any 24 Hours of LeMons racer. I figure do some bargaining with the dealer, get it down to around $400, work on beefing up that VTEC for racing use, swap in some stiffer anti-roll bars, and you've got a winnah.

$400. Needs one part to be LeMons-able, some lights to be road-legal. Automatic transmission, but it's hooked up to a mothertruckin' MERCEDES TURBODIESEL. Excuse me while I beg the nearest person for money.
And on that note (now accepting loans), it's time for me to hurriedly make some phone calls, source a wrist pin, lights, and say that's all for this article...

That $500 Civic is probably a typo or what they want down.

My crazy LeMons idea:
Are you familiar with the NyanCar? It plays the NyanCat song on endless loop throughout the race. It probably makes it's drivers go insane, but it's a laugh riot for everyone else.
So here's what I'm thinking.
1) Buy fox body Mustang
2) Decorate Mustang to look like a fox
3) Add speakers
4) Have car play just the chorus from "What Does the Fox Say" for the duration of the race. RING-DING-DING-DING-DINGERINGDING.

It's probably just want they want today. The ad also says Price: Contact Dealer.

Yes. Just yes. I even know a fur that could do the decoration better than I can (and that's saying a lot) and I know a place that sells A/V stuff for pennies on the dollar scrap...

Add some ricer stickers and you should win.
